I recently heard that Amazon out sells Home Depot and other big box stores.  So when our electric range died we decided to buy one online from Amazon.  They offered installation and take away of the old stove for fifty dollars.  The surprising part about it was that when we ordered it on Sunday, the installation company called us Monday for an appointment to install it.  They installed it on Thursday.  This was a full week earlier than what Home Depot could have done.  Amazon has some kind of system of using suppliers all over the country to cut down on shipment times.  Everyone thing worked great and we got exactly the stove we wanted without paying tax or shipping.  Amazon is kicking butt.
